Born in Japan and trained in great French kitchens, Kei Kobayashi opened his restaurant on Rue Coq-Héron, a short walk from the Louvre. He became the first Japanese chef to earn three MICHELIN Stars in France.
His cooking is French at heart, with the precision, lightness and visual care of his Japanese roots. Many dishes look like small gardens on the plate. The dining room is quiet and elegant, and the service discreet.
