Relais Louis XIII
Classic French · Paris 6th · €€€€
The name is a piece of history: it was in the old Grands-Augustins convent, on this site by the Seine, that the young Louis XIII was proclaimed king in 1610, the day after Henri IV was assassinated. The dining rooms keep exposed beams, old stone and period furniture.
The cooking is classic French in the grand tradition, with signature dishes, rich sauces and noble produce. A warm, old-world setting for lovers of traditional haute cuisine.
