Le Clarence occupies a 19th-century mansion on Avenue Franklin-D.-Roosevelt, close to the Champs-Élysées. It belongs to the family that owns Château Haut-Brion, and the house feels like an elegant private residence, with salons, wood panelling and fireplaces.
The cooking is creative and generous, served as a surprise menu with many small courses. The wine list is one of the most impressive in Paris, with great depth in Bordeaux vintages.
